About the Journal

AME Case Reports

AME Case Reports (ACR, AME Case Rep, Online ISSN: 2523-1995) is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal publishing original and educationally valuable case reports in all medical disciplines. ACR has been indexed by PubMed/PMC since 2018. The journal aims to provide clinical information on common and rare cases for healthcare professionals, researchers and others.

The high quality of its content is assured by a rigorous review process and supervised by a strong editorial board. All submissions are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editors or Editorial board members, as well as invited referees. The entire submission is managed through OJS system, an electronic system to provide an efficient way and ensure a rapid turn around of papers submitted for publication. The journal strongly endorses the CARE guidelines for case reports and requires authors to submit populated CARE checklists with submissions to improve transparency in reporting. See more at Information for Authors.

AME Case Reports uses the Open Access publishing model in which all published articles are freely available to readers directly from the Journal's website, as well as from PubMed and PubMed Central. This publishing model, however, is based on author fees. The submission of a manuscript and peer-review process are free of charge. The processing fee applies only to manuscripts accepted for publication. See more at Article Processing Charges: http://acr.amegroups.com/pages/view/article-processing-charges.
