Rana Naous, MD (Pathology)

Dr. Naous obtained her Medical Doctor degree from the American University Of Beirut in 2008, and is now an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pathology, SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She received her Anatomical and Clinical Pathology residency training at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. She received her Soft tissue and Bone pathology fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, and her Cytopathology and Hematopathology fellowship training at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She is American Board Certified in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology, Cytopathology and Hematopathology.

Her main research interests are in Soft tissue Pathology, mesenchymal tumors of the GI and GYN tracts, and Cytopathology. She has presented a number of her research studies in international conferences including United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and American Society of Cytopathology annual meetings.”
