Matthew Chang is a fourth-year medical student at St. George’s University School of Medicine and will be receiving his Medical Doctor degree in May 2019. After graduation, he hopes to obtain a general surgery residency and pursue a fellowship in a general surgery sub-specialty.
Matthew is exploring his interests in surgery and is completing research in robotic surgery, surgical patient outcomes and thoracic surgery. He will be presenting some of his research in robotic colorectal surgery at ObesityWeek in Nashville, TN, USA this coming November.
